The course is nice with well layed out holes. Nice maintained greens.
Only reason for three stars is god forbid you run into course members, you’ll get a spray for starting on the back 9, on a public course, that’s then allowed you to book tee times that ran into their slow play.
0 stars for the course members etiquette and humility.
5 stars for the course.
A beautiful river course not far from the centre of Geelong. Currently undergoing a watering plan and restricted to 9 holes. Not long but there are some challenging holes and the staff are excellent. Best to book in but the afternoons are not too busy usually. ⛳
Nice course, good value for money. Lots of hills but not a long distance. Good for beginners like the blokes in the photo
Well maintained, challenging par 66 course. Good selection of food and drinks in the cafe, friendly and professional service.
A Hilly front nine, and most of the second 9 around the Bawon River, so a little flatter. Some interesting par 3s and long par 4s. Beautiful trees line the fairways. Some patchy sections on the fairways, but good value for the price. Well stocked little pro shop. I am not a low handicap but feel all levels could enjoy a round here, especially the front nine. Cafe for coffee or a drink afterwards. The types of food available varies depending on the day of the week. Some days only pies or toasties, other days a good meal.
Good place to start your game golf Lerners
Great public golf course, very friendly and helpful staff.
Worst golf course I have ever played on
Loved this course, been to a few so far and this is my favourite
Joined Queens Park a couple of weeks before the lockdown. Really enjoy playing there. Friendly, welcoming members. Pro shop and clubhouse staff are great. It's only a short course but presents plenty of challenges.
